Chisholm’s doing it again! This is what he does… Wouldn’t you sort of like to see Moran drill Wells right here?…“He’s a bush league player. That’s not even a steal… That’s who Jazz is… I don’t know what else you need to hear… Moran should fight Chisholm.“He’s walking toward the third-base line, staring at him. Chisholm walks home… Chisholm, I’m going to say it, he plays the game the wrong way…Several fans were unhappy with the way Flemming spoke about Chisholm, taking umbrage at his ‘Bush League’ comments.One fan said, “We all know why he said that about Jazz Chisholm in particular… typical Boston behaviour.”Another fan suggested the comments were sour grapes from the announcer, noting, “Yeah, since a six-run comeback in the eighth or ninth inning has never happened before. Cry more.”“I thought that ‘playing the game the right way’ types loved stealing bases? Jokes aside, we see 6+ run comebacks multiple times a month; Jazz is totally right to keep pressing,” wrote a third fan.A fourth fan suggested Flemming crossed a line, claiming, “An announcer/analyst calling/hoping for there to be some sort of violence is loser behaviour.”A fifth fan questioned why the ethics of Chisholm’s actions were being questioned, asking, “Wait, it’s ‘Bush League’ to steal a base up six runs? That might explain why the Red Sox refuse to run to first base when they hit a ground ball.”And lastly, one fan suggested the criticism toward Chisholm should be aimed at Flemming, writing, “Not a fan of either team, but that was bush league announcing.
