   ​Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.Ronald Acuña Jr. is currently on a rehab assignment after going on the injured list for the second time this season.The 2023 National League MVP is one of the best players in baseball, but has battled injuries this season. Just as he was getting on a roll, he strained his left hamstring for the second time this year. His rehab assignment was transferred to Triple-A on Friday, and his return is nearing. Walt Weiss did not rule out Acuña returning before Thursday.“I won’t rule it out, but they’ve got his schedule mapped out for him.” Weiss said, per MLB.com’s Mark Bowman. “Those things can change based on how he’s feeling and performing and all and all that.
