​Breanna Stewart is getting ready to represent Team USA in the FIBA World Cup. While the excitement in the baller is truly evident, it is true that the players are feeling the strain with such a tightly packed schedule.Stewart recently appeared on the ‘Game Recognize Game’ podcast and admitted that there is indeed very little time to practice with the whole team. The fact is that the players on the Team USA roster are all part of different franchises in the W, which means that they are suddenly rivals turned teammates, and will have to go the other way as soon as they touch down back in America.Stewart admitted that the whole team is super excited while also feeling the pressure to perform in the World Cup as well. Stewart and the Team USA gang will first be taking on China for the opening game, which is set to kick off in a few hours.“You know, there’s like two days of practice and then games. I think once we get there, we just, we’re literally like locked in. Got to get into it and know that, you know, we all have to be on the same page… For us, it’s, you know, pressure’s on. The moment we step on soil in Germany, pressure is on for what we need to do.
