Curtis Tilt has joined Burton Albion on a two-year deal from Bradford City for an undisclosed transfer fee, reuniting him with manager Gary Bowyer. The 34-year-old defender has made more than 300 appearances for clubs including Blackpool, Salford City, and Rotherham United, and was part of Wigan Athletic’s 2022 League One title-winning squad. He earned two Jamaica caps in 2021 and logged 32 appearances for Bradford last season. Tilt previously played under Bowyer at Blackpool during the 2017-18 campaign, and Bowyer praised him, saying the skipper will bring leadership and significant character to the Burton dressing room.
