The Fever star became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 40 points and 10 assists in a single game, adding another unprecedented accomplishment to her growing résumé.Indiana needed every bit of Clark’s historic performance. Seattle shot 57 percent from the field, scored 56 points in the first half and carried an 88-82 advantage into the fourth quarter. Clark responded by taking control down the stretch and pushing the Fever across the finish line in front of 17,274 fans.Caitlin Clark makes WNBA history against SeattleClark entered Friday averaging 19.7 points and 7.7 assists, but she had not scored more than 24 points in any of her previous five appearances.
