Caitlin Clark is cleared for Sunday, according to Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White, who spoke to reporters on Saturday afternoon. Clark will be available as the Fever (13-9) close out their four-game road trip with a visit to the Las Vegas Aces (16-6), but she will be limited to a minutes restriction of 20-25 minutes. This news comes after Clark exited the Fever’s June 24 game against the Phoenix Mercury in the third quarter with a back injury and subsequently missed three of Indiana’s last four contests.
Clark did return earlier in the week, appearing for 16 minutes and scoring nine points on 4-for-12 shooting in a 106-92 defeat to the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday. However, due to a back-to-back schedule for the Fever, Indiana chose to rest Clark for the second game of that back-to-back on Thursday. Her status on Thursday’s game-day injury report was listed as rest.
Throughout the 2026 season, Clark has been hampered by a back issue. Following her recent three absences, she has now missed four games due to either injury or rest. The 2025 season was also challenging for Clark, as she played only 13 games while contending with a series of injuries. Despite the injury concerns, she remains a prolific scorer for Indiana, averaging 20.5 points, 7.9 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 42.6% from the field, 33.6% from three-point range, and an impressive 85.4% from the free-throw line.
