Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark has never been shy about letting the officials know how she feels throughout the course of a game, even if that means raising her voice and getting in their face. And she did that once again on Wednesday night.During Wednesday night’s game against the Golden State Valkyries, Clark was caught screaming directly in the face of an official after an apparent missed foul that knocked her to the floor and left her banged up.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementDuring the second quarter of Wednesday night’s showdown between the Fever and the Valkyries, Clark drove to the basket and went up for a layup, where she was met by Valkyries center Kiah Stokes. Stokes appeared to make contact with Clark’s arm, sending her falling to the floor, but no foul was called.Making matters worse, Clark was banged up on the play. She got up slowly and limped down the court to get back on defense. At the next stoppage in play, Clark was taken out of the game and went back into the locker room, but not before she expressed her displeasure to the referees.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementFollowing what appeared to be a missed call at the other end of the floor, Clark absolutely screamed at an official at the next stoppage in play.Clark threw her arms in the air in frustration, approached an official, and screamed directly into their face. While the camera did not pick up the audio, it was not difficult to determine what Clark was saying, even for the most novice of lip readers. This is certainly not the first time that Clark has been seen raising her voice at an official. And based on the way she plays and how she shows her emotion on the court, it’s unlikely this will be the last time.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementIt’s also worth noting that Clark did return to the game after the incident. The post Cameras catch Caitlin Clark screaming directly at referee’s face appeared first on The Comeback: Today’s Top Sports Stories & Reactions.
