Man, that guy has a great PR team!”Brian Scalabrine: “Tatum must have some meatballs and marinara going on with the Bulls.”Despite playing together for almost a decade and winning a championship, Brown and Tatum apparently never had the best relationship with each other on the Celtics. With Tatum’s Achilles injury in the 2025 playoffs ruling him out for a majority of last season, Brown was trusted to be the first option for the team.Brown was absolutely sensational, playing at an MVP level, and dragging the Celtics to the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 56-win season.Tatum managed to return later in the season to take part in the playoffs. Unfortunately, his return wasn’t enough to get the Celtics past the first round, as they blew a 3-1 lead to the Philadelphia 76ers.After the season was over, Brown called it his favourite year of his career, a comment that proved to signal the end of his time with the Celtics. Now that Brown has joined the 76ers, fans will be eagerly awaiting the first encounter between Tatum and Brown as rivals.Read more:‘A lie’ – Jaylen Brown’s response to Celtics’ fan favourite’s claim about offseason trade demandBlake Griffin says there’s one thing he knows for sure about Jayson Tatum amid Jaylen Brown drama‘He’s got a great PR team’ – Jaylen Brown’s blunt statement on Jayson Tatum amid reported tensions
