​The Los Angeles Chargers may have lost more than just a defensive coordinator this offseason. According to linebacker Marlowe Wax, they lost one of the brightest football minds in the league.Appearing on The Press Box Online with Glenn Clark, Wax had nothing but high praise for former Bolts defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, who left Los Angeles to become the Baltimore Ravens’ new head coach. He’s a genius. He’s gonna be the one calling the plays. He’s gonna be the one controlling everything and then make sure that the X’s and O’s are just exactly what they need to be.”According to Wax, Minter’s greatest gift is ensuring every player fully grasps the game through the same lens as the coaching staff.
