​The Chicago Fire unveiled details Wednesday of the individual luxury hospitality offerings at their new $750 million stadium going up at The 78 in the South Loop, featuring high-end dining, mini-suites, a private speakeasy and the best 600 heated seats in the house.The amenities are such that Fire executives say a number of Chicagoans who don’t know a corner kick from a header already are reserving luxury seats costing upwards of $25,000 a year at McDonald’s Park, which isn’t expected to open until the 2028 MLS season.“A large majority of the folks who have signed up are not diehard soccer fans or Chicago Fire fans, but they’re excited to be part of a stadium that’s the first new venue to be introduced in the city of Chicago in over three decades,” said Dave Baldwin, the Fire’s president of business operations.Backed by billionaire Fire owner Joe Mansueto, the privately funded open-air soccer facility — the most expensive in the MLS — was announced last year. Designed by architectural firm Gensler, the 22,000-seat red-brick stadium will feature a natural-grass pitch, 50 luxury suites and a canopied roof.McDonald’s Park, which bears the fast-food giant’s brand as part of a long-term naming rights deal, broke ground in March at The 78, a planned $8 billion mixed-use development at a long-vacant, 62-acre site along the Chicago River south of Roosevelt Road.The stadium’s concrete has since been poured and steel is expected to rise this year. Once it opens, the stadium will host 17 regular season MLS games and 10 to 15 other events per year, including concerts, comedy shows and international soccer matches.The Fire already have sold more than 40% of the premium large suites favored by corporations.For individual fans seeking similar amenities, the Fire are offering 600 luxury seats being marketed in three distinct tiers, ranging in prices from $10,000 to $25,000 a year. The team already has presold 120 of those seats to “friends and family,” Baldwin said.The highest level, the Chairman’s Club, is invitation-only, accommodates 80 people and includes all events at the stadium. The 319 Field Seats feature behind-the-scenes access to the players tunnel and a private speakeasy. The 191 Loge Seats offer a mini-suite experience for small groups.Beyond the amenities, all 600 of the luxury seats are wider, more cushiony and heated to keep Fire fans warm during the cold game days ahead.“This is one of the first venues in the whole United States that has heated seats for its luxury seating,” Baldwin said.Even without bun-warmers, the Fire are putting a lot of fans in the seats this season at Soldier Field. Bolstered by the addition of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, the Fire currently are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, with attendance averaging a record 24,000 per game.While that still leaves Soldier Field almost two-thirds empty, it presages a sellout at the new stadium, which the team hopes will light a fire un
