Christian Darrisaw on his health: ‘Best I’ve felt in two years’

By admin — In News — July 31, 2026

The Minnesota Vikings have made it a point to protect whoever is under center with a strong offensive line. They have done a good job drafting their bookend tackles while showing off their front office skills, while building the interior in a variety of ways.None of that drafting matters, however, if the players are not healthy. That is why the news that left tackle Christian Darrisaw shared this week has to be music to fans’ ears. Darrisaw shared how good he feels, saying, “Feel the best I’ve felt in two years. . .It’s just like night and day from how I came into the season and how I’m feeling now.”The former top pick out of Virginia Tech has simply not been healthy since suffering a knee injury in October of 2024. He suffered a torn ACL and MCL and has not been the same since. He was shut down early in 2025, but hearing he is feeling that well is a sign he could finally turn a corner and play up to the All-Pro potential many believe still exists.
