Jordan Miller is out following shoulder surgery, Yanic Konan Niederhauser is out after undergoing surgery on his foot, Max Strus also underwent surgery on his foot for a partial plantar fascia tear, Brandon Ingram had surgery on his partially torn achilles and Bradley Beal is dealing with a knee issue.Rui Hachimura also missed Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he’s likely to return before long.Wesley signed with the Clippers in September, but the team waived him before the start of the season. He played with the team during the preseason, averaging six points, two assists and 1.3 rebounds over the course of three games.Oct 14, 2026; Inglewood, California, USA; Los Angeles Clippers guard Blake Wesley (20) dunks for the basket against the Denver Nuggets during the second half at Intuit Dome. Vasquez-Imagn ImagesIs Blake Wesley a Good Player? While Wesley will certainly play a role for the Clippers, he likely won’t take on too much of a load during his time with the team.Three of his four NBA seasons came with the Spurs, who selected him with the 25th pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, where he averaged 14.3 minutes over the course of 156 games. During his time with the Spurs, Wesley averaged 4.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. With the Trail Blazers last year, he averaged a career-low 11.6 minutes per game but scored 4.8 points per game—the second-highest mark of his career—with 2.0 assists as well. If Wesley impresses the Clippers, they can sign him to another 10-day contract when his current one expires—assuming they still qualify for the hardship exception when that time comes.Until then, Wesley will hope to help the Clippers get back on track after suffering three consecutive losses. His next opportunity comes against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday in Los Angeles’ first game of the NBA Cup, which begins at 5:00 p.m. PT.The post Clippers Sign Guard to 10-Day Contract Amid Numerous Injuries appeared first on LA Sports Report.
