Commanders’ Terry McLaurin expected to miss Week 4 vs Colts in London

The Washington Commanders got good news this week when head coach Dan Quinn said linebacker Frankie Luvu and tight end Chig Okonkwo would return for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Luvu (groin) and Okonkwo (hamstring) were injured in the Week 1 loss to Philadelphia and missed the last two games. Unfortunately, it looks like Washington will be without its No. receiver on Sunday. Terry McLaurin was a late addition to the final injury report with a hamstring injury. He was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report. According to Ben Standig of the Last Man Standig Substack, McLaurin is now expected to miss Sunday’s game in London, despite initially believing he could play through the injury. Sources: Despite intial hope he would play through a hamstring injury, Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin is now likely to miss Sunday’s game in London against the Indianapolis Colts, multiple sources tell Last Man Standig.More:https://t.co/Yzq2LKVIbspic.twitter.com/SPIjc7tNuF— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) October 3, 2026McLaurin is coming off his best game of the season, catching six passes for 77 yards and a touchdown in last week’s upset of the Seahawks. Through three games this season, McLaurin has 10 receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown.Without McLaurin, the Commanders still have six receivers on the 53-man roster, so they don’t need to elevate anyone from the practice squad. His absence likely means more targets for Stefon Diggs, Antonio Williams, and the returning Okonkwo. Treylon Burks could also get more playing time in McLaurin’s absence. The Commanders kick off Sunday’s game at 9:30 a.m. ET in London. This article originally appeared on Commanders Wire: Commanders’ Terry McLaurin expected to miss Week 4 vs Colts in London
