Cowboys fans must pick an interceptions leader for 2026

By admin — In News — July 8, 2026

We’re back with another survey as we push through the stretch before training camp arrives, aiming to set benchmarks and expectations for the Dallas Cowboys’ 2026 roster. In previous editions, we explored the most worrisome position group, which sparked a lively debate, and we also predicted who would lead in touchdown receptions and who would claim the title of sack king in 2026. Now our focus shifts to another key metric: who will lead the Cowboys in interceptions in 2026.
We’ve shortlisted five candidates, but if you believe another player will top the charts, share your reasoning in the comments. There’s a lot riding on the health and performance of several defenders, and fans are especially hopeful about different bounce-back stories.
First, there’s Bland. If he can put his injury history behind him, he has the potential to recapture the ball-hocking form he showed in the past. In 2023, Bland logged nine interceptions for the season, a number that still turns heads and fuels expectations for a return to elite play.
Next up is the newcomer who is expected to see a lot of playing time—perhaps as a starter or a first-off-the-bench option. His career highs include three interceptions in a season, but there’s a sense that Christian Parker could unlock more of his potential and elevate the unit as a whole.
Fans are also keeping an eye on Revel, hoping for a strong comeback year after ACL surgery sidelined him for a significant period. Revel has only seven NFL games under his belt, but those with a keen eye for talent have long believed he possessed first-round caliber ability. A productive 2026 season could finally translate that potential into on-field impact.
Then there’s the nickel wildcard who will likely see time at both safety and the nickel position. With ample opportunities to make plays, the question remains whether his talent will translate into a breakout rookie season.
Finally, there’s Thompson, who received a substantial free-agent contract, signaling the Cowboys’ plans for him as a starter. He has four interceptions in a single season on his resume, and the hope is that Parker’s defense will create even more chances for takeaways.
So, who do you think will lead the Cowboys in interceptions in 2026? Vote in the poll and then head to the comments to share your reasoning and predictions.
