   ​The dog days of the NHL offseason are very near, if not here already, but moves are still coming through.In Bruins news, the report cards are back out for the offseason moves, and a journeyman defenseman with a stop in Boston is hanging up the skates. The Bruins also moved on from a 2021 first-round pick earlier this summer, and he signed a one-year deal with a fresh opportunity ahead.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementElsewhere around the league, the Jets signed their 2026 first-round pick to an entry-level contract yesterday, and he will leave Sweden for Manitoba this fall. Arbitration dates were revealed, and a Rangers defenseman then settled on a one-year deal to avoid his hearing.
