The Bruins also posted their theme night schedule for the 2026-27 season, and an update on a new Bruin. Jason Robertson signed a one-year deal last night, avoiding his upcoming arbitration date and settling for the Stars’ ask. He was not the only player to sign a contract yesterday, as a Mass. native cashed in and will stick around in Utah until 2035. Elsewhere around the league, Connor McDavid trade rumors? They’re back, and some teams in the Eastern Conference are getting ahead of themselves. The Stars did not move from their reported max of $12 million, and Robertson settled on a one-year deal. He is eligible to sign an extension on January 1, 2027, and is set to be an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2027. TSN: Jet Greaves and the Blue Jackets are set for arbitration on Thursday, and they are $4.7 million apart in their asking prices. The Blue Jackets went for $2.8 million, while their goaltender countered with a $7.5 million ask. Greaves went 26-19-9 with a 2.60 GAA and .908 SV% with Columbus last season. ESPN: John Marino, a native of Easton and Harvard hockey alum, signed an eight-year extension with a $6.75 million cap hit. The contract kicks in next summer, and Marino will be 38 when the contract expires in 2035.
