OXFORD — LSU football defensive back Dashawn Spears has exited the game against Ole Miss with an apparent leg injury.Spears was hurt on a a play with 14:24 remaining in the second quarter in which Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy rushed for 22 yards.No. 9 Ole Miss (2-0) is hosting No. 7 LSU (2-0) on Sept. 19. The Rebels are leading 17-0 in the second quarter.Spears plays the STAR position in the secondary. He is a junior from Denham Springs, Louisiana.Spears stayed down on the field for about 30 seconds and then was helped off by two staffers.
