(WTVO/WQRF) — The Chicago Blackhawks are ready to open training camp, and defenseman Ethan Del Mastro is more ready than ever now that he had a new contract.Wednesday, he agreed to a two-year deal that runs through the 2027-28 season. The deal has a $950,000 cap hit.Del Mastro is 23 years old. He appeared in 19 games for the Blackhawks last season. He had one assist. He also played in 45 games in Rockford with the AHL IceHogs.
