Delon Wright, Zane Beadles and Jerry Pimm headline Utah Athletics Hall of Fame class

   ​Former Utah men’s basketball guard Delon Wright, football offensive lineman Zane Beadles, men’s basketball coach Jerry Pimm, gymnast Daria Bijak, women’s skier Katrin Smigun and the 1991 softball team will be inducted into the Utah Athletics Hall of Fame in 2026.Wright starred at Utah from 2013-15 and helped turn Utah’s basketball program around, leading the Utes to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2009 during his senior season.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementWright averaged 14.5 points, 5.1 assists and 4.9 rebounds in Utah’s 2014-15 season, earning second-team All-America honors and winning the 2015 Bob Cousy Award, given to the nation’s top point guard.In 2014-15, the Utes returned to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2005.Wright was selected No. 20 by the Toronto Raptors in the 2015 NBA draft and carved out a 10-year NBA career, averaging 6.7 points, three rebounds and three assists.Beadles spent four seasons at Utah as a mainstay on the offensive line, including starting at left tackle for the 2008 Utes, who completed a perfect 13-0 season with a victory over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
