It was a concern, but the win helped everyone move on quickly. Yet, after the Lions gave up 41 points in a loss on Thursday night, the defensive issues have come back into focus. After all, they released Terrion Arnold, a player they selected with the 24th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft at the end of June, and he was projected to start.Meanwhile, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that the Lions have been looking into making roster upgrades. Specifically, the Lions are one of several teams that are pursuing a contract with former Pro Bowl cornerback Kenny Moore II, who spent nine seasons with the Indianapolis Colts before demanding a trade this offseason and later getting released. Now, he’s expected to join a team in time for Week 3.“Sounds like he has got a lot of interest from multiple teams in need of a cornerback because of depth reasons and injury reasons. The Lions among the teams that have checked in on Kenny Moore.
