He previously served as Wisconsin’s Deputy Athletic Director from 2006 to 2011, a period that helped shape his understanding of the Badgers’ athletic culture. Since then, he has held Athletic Director positions at the University of Miami and the University of Nebraska, gaining experience managing large budgets, complex operations, and high-profile sports programs. A Wisconsin native, Eichorst is returning to a familiar environment with a mission to elevate the Badgers back to national prominence.
