Saturday’s SEC showdown between the top-ranked Texas Longhorns and No. 14-ranked Tennessee Volunteers is the hottest ticket in college football this weekend, and now Neyland Stadium will have an even bigger spotlight with President Donald Trump headed to Knoxville for the big game. It was announced this week that Trump will be in attendance for Saturday afternoon’s game, which will also be hosting ESPN College GameDay. While we don’t know whether Trump will make an appearance on College GameDay for a segment or as the celebrity guest picker, we do know that he will be in attendance for the game which creates another major inconvenience for fans. Ahead of Saturday’s game, the University of Tennessee police department sent a lengthy memo to students announcing that gates to Neyland will open as early as 9:00 a.m. ET, which is when College GameDay begins, and that fans can expect “enhanced security” and “longer wait times”to get into the stadium.
