Dan Parr of NFL.com has identified this trend in his fresh fantasy football wide receiver rankings for the 2026 NFL season. London finds himself in the first tier, ranked at No. 9 overall.
“Drake London would be in the running for the top spot in these rankings if he were on a different team with consistently above-average quarterback play,” Parr wrote. “Unfortunately for London, the Falcons are weighing Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. at the position.” While the recurring mention of Tagovailoa and Penix may feel repetitive to Falcons observers, it remains worth noting that London has posted strong numbers in spite of not having stable quarterback play to date.
As a rookie in 2022, London logged 72 receptions for 866 yards and four touchdowns, with Marcus Mariota and Desmond Ridder throwing the ball. The following season, he tallied 69 catches, 905 yards, and two touchdowns, as Ridder handled the majority of the quarterback duties. In 2024, London achieved a career-best line of 100 receptions, 1,271 yards, and nine touchdowns with Kirk Cousins under center—Cousins also led the league in interceptions that year. Last season, London totaled 68 receptions, 919 yards, and seven scores, even though he missed five games.
Regardless of which quarterback lands the starting job, fantasy managers can still anticipate solid production from London, provided he remains healthy. This assessment echoes the sentiment that his fantasy value isn’t solely dependent on the overall quality at quarterback but also on his talent, volume, and the offense’s ability to support him.
