After being held out of Minnesota’s first summer league game due to a pending trade, Duke’s Isaiah Evans didn’t fare too well in his debut, scoring four points on 2-for-15 shooting and 0-for-9 shooting from beyond the arc.Unfortunately for the two-year Duke standout, things didn’t get any better Monday night, as Evans was held to just two points on 0-for-8 shooting and 0-for-6 shooting beyond the arc. Evans also tallied one rebound and one steal in 23 minutes of play.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAlthough Evans led the Blue Devils in 3-point makes last season, he’s had trouble converting with the Timberwolves, to say the least, and is now 0-for-15 this summer. Luckily for the Fayetteville native, he’ll have plenty of time to turn things around and showcase his potential, as his rookie deal is guaranteed for the first three seasons, with a team option entering the fourth and final year. Evans and Minnesota will return to action Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers. This article originally appeared on Duke Wire: Duke’s Isaiah Evans continues nightmare start at NBA Summer League
