She was unsuccessful, and it was clear from then on that Apodaca was going to offer some resistance in every area.Apodaca had good moments with her strikes and defensive grappling, bloodying the nose of her opponent and keeping hr on edge. Mir also landed her fair share of hard punches that scored points and kept her in competitive position on the scorecards.With high tension going into the final round, Apodaca had some of her best moments of positional control.
