​NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Second-year Eagles offensive lineman Drew Kendall will not start at left guard against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Kendall was expected to replace injured left guard Landon Dickerson in the starting lineup. Instead, the Eagles will start Kendall at center and move center Cam Jurgens to left guard, according to an NFL Network report.The Eagles could stick with this offensive line combination for the remainder of the season if Jurgens and Kendall play well against the Titans. Jurgens and Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, who is one of the NFL’s best defensive linemen, could wreck the Eagles’ Week 2 game plan. Kendall, who started 37 games at center for Boston College, was drafted by the Eagles in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He crossed trained at center and guard as a rookie. During his second training camp, Kendall made a strong impression as a left guard. He played well during practices and preseason games. He looks like a future NFL starter.
