After Philadelphia fell 27-10 on Sunday Night Football, the star running back gave a blunt assessment of where the team stands.“This one sucks. They all suck,” Barkley said, via Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer. “The mindset is continue to stay together, but in reality, we’ve got to go back to the little things and lock in our details. Keeps getting us beat.”Watch sports LIVE with fuboTV (free trial)Saquon Barkley: “This one sucks. They all suck. It started well enough at Northwest Stadium. Jake Elliott opened the scoring with a 40-yard field goal, and Barkley took a direct snap and punched in a 3-yard touchdown run to give Philadelphia a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. The Eagles did not score again. Washington answered with 27 unanswered points, as Jayden Daniels found Stefon Diggs for an 8-yard touchdown in the second quarter, and the Commanders added four field goals, including a 56-yarder. A 1-yard touchdown run and a two-point conversion with 1:55 left capped the scoring. The win improved Washington to 2-4-1 and marked its first comeback victory of the season.Daniels completed 16 of 29 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown without an interception, while the Commanders’ defense sacked Tanner McKee five times. McKee, filling in for the injured Jalen Hurts, went 23-of-34 for 212 yards with an interception.Barkley, who entered the week dealing with hamstring and back injuries, was held to 30 yards on 13 carries. He added a 24-yard catch out of the backfield. Elijah Mitchell, elevated from the practice squad on Saturday, also got 11 carries. The 29-year-old is not the only Eagle taking accountability during the skid. Last week, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio took the blame after the Dallas Cowboys ran for 204 yards in a 38-21 loss on Monday Night Football. The good news for Philadelphia is that the NFC East remains up for grabs. The New York Giants lead the division at 4-2-1, and the Eagles will host them at Lincoln Financial Field next Sunday. If Philadelphia hopes to salvage its season, the turnaround will need to start there.Related: Eagles’ Nick Sirianni puts himself on blast after Week 8 SNF debacle vs. CommandersRelated: Eagles’ Nick Sirianni doesn’t give a clear answer on Sean Mannion’s play
