One of the top defensive linemen in the Dallas area has transferred to four-time state champion DeSoto. He has already been ruled eligible for varsity play for the 2026 season.Three-star recruit Khing Thibodeaux said he has moved from Garland Lakeview to DeSoto and that he has already had his district executive committee hearing. He is the seventh-ranked defensive lineman in the Dallas area and joins a DeSoto team that won three Class 6A Division II state titles in the last four years and is now moving down to 5A Division I in realignment.Thibodeaux lists 36 college offers, including Ole Miss, Penn State, Arizona State and SMU. He had 75 tackles, 11 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, 27 quarterback pressures and four forced fumbles as a junior last year.DeSoto has added other transfers this offseason — Penn State pledge and three-star cornerback Dhillon McGee from Red Oak, quarterback Jayden Shaw from Arlington Lamar and quarterback Patrick Harris Jr. from rival Duncanville.
