​Across the NFL, players have unique indicators that tell them when they’re ready for training camp and the start of the season. For some, there’s a longing to return to the game or their teammates. Others might successfully hit a specific goal relative to weight gain or weight loss, or with their playbook. Bengals tight end Erick All Jr. was attempting to cross a street in Greece in June when knew he was ready for Bengals training camp this summer, and the realization literally hit him as he was struck by a three-wheeled vehicle and thrown.All spoke on his harrowing experience after Day 2 of Bengals training camp July 30 at Paycor Stadium. His recounting of the incident was playful, and he was able to laugh and smile as he conveyed the details, including that the driver of the three-wheeled appeared to be fleeing someone or something.All said he wasn’t seriously injured by the collision. In fact, it fired him up. “It was really huge. It was huge for my confidence,” All said. “That did a lot of good things for the mental, I’m telling you… He hit me pretty good. I think that guy was trying to ‘get out of Dodge.’ It’s a little different out there.”It could have been very bad.” Prior to being struck by a vehicle, All was looking to bounce back from surgeries that caused him to miss the 2025 season.
