   ​With the countdown on for the Indiana high school girls soccer season, we’re asking readers their feedback for our fan vote.Who do you think should be Central Indiana’s Preseason Girls Soccer Player of the Year? Scroll to the bottom of this article to vote. The poll will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday.Olivia Ade, Carmel, Sr.Ade helped Carmel make the Class 3A state title game last season. She notched six assists and three goals for a Greyhounds team that finished the year with a 19-3-1 record.Isabella Cueto, Carmel, Sr.Cueto was a first-team All-State selection last season. She logged 1,526 minutes of playing time for a backline that allowed 12 goals in 2025. She scored two goals as a junior.Hannah Dodge, HSE, Sr.Dodge, a Grand Valley commit, was a key piece in HSE’s state title run in 2025. She recorded 16 shutouts in 22 games, allowing just five goals during her junior year.Elsie Flanders, Carmel, Sr.Flanders was the team leader in points (21), assists (9) and goals (6) last season. The Marian commit paced the team with 15 assists and scored the second most goals with 20 last season.Macey Hamelmann, Zionsville, Jr.Hamelmann helped Zionsville’s defense record 11 shutouts last season. The Eagles, who finished the year 10-1-6, allowed just seven goals. She added three assists and two goals, offensively.Joslin Kershaw, Park Tudor, Jr.Kershaw’s 21 assists led all sophomores in the state last season. She scored 12 goals for a Panthers team that qualified for the 2A state title game.Reese Killinger, Center Grove, Jr.Killinger is a Ball State commit that played in all 22 games last season. She led the team with 10 assists and contributed five goals for a Trojans team that went 19-3 last season.Sydney May, HSE, Jr.May ranked third in points (29) for HSE last season. She scored 11 goals and dished out seven assists as a sophomore. The Indiana commit helped the Royals finish 22-0-1 as a state champion last season.Mia Marlin, Center Grove, Sr.Marlin paced the Trojans with 19 goals last season. She also registered the second most assists (8) for Center Grove.Addison McClain, HSE, Sr.McClain, a Ball State commit, was a third-team All-State selection last season. She ranked second on the team with eight assists. She also scored nine goals for an HSE team that totaled 103 as a team.Skylar Mueller, HSE, Jr.Mueller is Colorado commit that will join an HSE team that won the 3A state title last season.
