FC Barcelona Has Made Another Offer For A Star, Reports SPORT

Barcelona has placed an offer on the table for another potential addition as it presses ahead with its pursuit of Karim Adeyemi. This development was reported by Nieuwsblad in Belgium, with corroboration from Catalan outlet SPORT, both citing anonymous sources. The player in question is Jesse Bisiwu of Club Brugge, who has been described as one of Europe’s most exciting young talents. Reports indicate that Barça has already submitted an initial bid of $11.4 million (€10 million) to Brugge, a proposal that was rejected.
Negotiations remain active, however, and it is believed Brugge could eventually concede if the Catalan club raises its bid slightly and includes a substantial share of any future sale of the 18-year-old. If the deal progresses, Bisiwu would join Barça for the next four seasons, with the transfer being brokered by Sporting Director Deco and Joao Amaral. The plan envisions Bisiwu joining the Barça B team initially, while still providing him a pathway to the senior squad under Hansi Flick if he fulfills his potential and develops under coach Juliano Belletti.
Barcelona has been explicit about strengthening the wings this summer. The club has already secured the signing of Anthony Gordon for about $80 million (€70 million) from Newcastle United and is closing in on Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. Adeyemi is expected to come at a favorable price due to being in the final year of his contract, with reports suggesting Barça could land him for roughly €22 million plus up to €7 million in variables. Although Adeyemi can operate across the forward line, his primary position is left wing, a trait he shares with Gordon and potentially Bisiwu. This pattern signals that Barça might be preparing for life after Raphinha, who, at 29, has been plagued by injuries. Raphinha missed more than 20 matches in the 2025/2026 season due to hamstring problems, including two Champions League quarterfinals against Atlético Madrid that culminated in Barça’s aggregate exit.
There is also chatter that Saudi Arabia remains keen on signing the Brazilian winger, a development that could influence Barça’s summer plans as they continue to pursue Julian Álvarez.
