Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Felix Anudike-Uzomah spoke with reporters on Friday. He discussed building on his Week 1 performance against the Denver Broncos and adjusting to a new defensive role.“It was just where I needed to be in the defense to put my team in the best position to get as much pressures, as many sacks, as we can. So, it was just a role that we figured out in training camp,” said Anudike-Uzomah, who reacted to praise from teammates, “It just shows that they know what I was dealing with. They know what was going on with my injury and stuff like that. So, it was one of those things where, obviously, it’s in the past. So now we’re here, and we’re here to roll.”Anudike-Uzomah recorded a sack-fumble of Broncos quarterback Bo Nix in the fourth quarter. Anudike-Uzomah’s forced fumble was recovered by defensive lineman Chris Jones. He opened up about his confidence after last Monday night’s game.“I feel pretty good. There were some things I could have fixed too, especially the edge position, but at the same time, it’s one game,” said Anudike-Uzomah. “So, we’ve got to keep stacking this day by day.”The fumble marked Anudike-Uzomah’s third career forced fumble, and he now has 4 career sacks. This article originally appeared on Chiefs Wire: Felix Anudike-Uzomah discusses building on Week 1 performance
