First Browns player makes appearance on NFL's Top-100 list

The Cleveland Browns are coming off back-to-back lackluster seasons, but there is no doubting the young talent they have on their roster heading into the future. And they’re going to need it after trading off the anchor of their team in Myles Garrett this offseason.
One of those young playmakers has again been recognized by his peers around the league. After winning the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award for his efforts with the Browns in 2025, linebacker Carson Schwesinger has also been recognized by his peers, cracking the NFL Top 100 list. This marks the first Browns player to make the cut for the annual poll amongst NFL players.

He comes in as the NFL’s 93rd overall player on the list.
Schwesinger deservedly took home the hardware after immediately taking over the role of the green dot in the middle of the Browns’ defense in 2025. While this may not have been the plan, accelerated by the retirement of linebacker Jordan Hicks last summer, Schwesinger took on the role and did not look back.
Anchoring the middle of the Browns’ defense, Schwesinger amassed a massive 156 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two interceptions as a rookie. Even if that is the consistent production year after year and Schwesinger does not take big leaps, this is a Hall of Fame caliber track that he has already started for himself.

This honor is well-earned by the young star.
