​Several Minnesota Vikings receivers have gone on to ESPN after their playing careers. Cris Carter was with the network from 2008 to 2016, and Randy Moss has been there since 2016. Now, a player who grew up idolizing both of them will follow in their footsteps.Adam Thielen, who retired after the 2025 season, will join NFL Live every Wednesday throughout the season alongside Molly McGrath, Dan Orlovsky, and Andrew Hawkins, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.After a brief stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers to close out the 2025 season, Thielen returned to the Vikings in the offseason to retire with the team he spent 11 seasons with. Now, Thielen can build a post-playing career that keeps him close to the game he loves. Just as he grew up a fan of what Moss and Carter did on the field, he is now mimicking their post-football lives.
