​Former Wisconsin Badgers running back Dilin Jones has gotten off to a strong start in his first season with the LSU Tigers. Through two games, Jones has rushed for 179 yards on 41 carries, putting him just 21 yards shy of the 200-yard mark. He has also scored two touchdowns while adding four catches for 15 yards.Jones opened the season with a breakout performance against Clemson, rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries as LSU cruised to a 51-10 victory. ESPN highlighted Jones as one of the key takeaways from LSU’s Week 1 performance, noting that the Wisconsin transfer matched his career touchdown total in his Tigers debut.He followed that performance with 66 rushing yards on 18 carries against Louisiana Tech, bringing his season total to 179 yards. Jones spent two seasons at Wisconsin, rushing for 388 yards and two touchdowns across 10 games.
