​FSU baseball commit Chase Fuller is one of the top high school baseball players in the country, and on Sunday, he received another impressive award while at the Perfect Game All-American ClassicHe was named the 2026 Jackie Robinson Award Winner, which is given to Perfect Game’s National Player of the Year. The award is presented to the player who exhibits outstanding character, leadership, is involved in his community, and embodies the values of being a student-athlete.Fuller led Lincoln High School to a state championship as a junior and is expected to be a top draft pick in the 2027 MLB Draft. A shortstop and right-handed pitcher, he hit .327 in 35 games with one home run, nine doubles, one triple, and 14 RBI in 101 at-bats. He drew 35 walks and scored 32 times, finishing with a .514 on-base percentage and a .465 slugging percentage.While he threw just 16 1/3 innings for Lincoln, he was nearly unhittable, posting a 1.75 ERA with eight saves. He allowed three runs on seven hits and 10 walks, striking out 19 batters. Fuller is ranked as Perfect Game’s No. 3 high school player in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 2 shortstop. Baseball America has him as a five-star prospect.
