​FLORISSANT, Mo. – The Gateway Cup wrapped up with a beautiful but still very warm day in Florissant.The beloved Labor Day weekend race attracts both local national cycling enthusiasts.“Great to have the 10-degree temperature cooldown,” cyclist Jason Roche said. “Racing in the 90s is a lot better than 105.”The Gateway Cup continues to grow each year and many here say they can’t wait to see what next year’s race will bring.“It’s an awesome Labor Day tradition here,” cyclist Brett Moeller said.Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
