After seven seasons with the Packers, Lowry played one year with the Minnesota Vikings before playing the last two seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers.Giants general manager Joe Schoen told reporters last week that the team would add a defensive lineman before the season opener this Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium. Lowry, who is returning from a torn ACL, has played in 132 NFL games with 85 starts.
