Giants will return home to New Jersey on August 9 for training camp

The New York Giants will begin their 2026 training camp at The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia, starting July 28, with six open public practices scheduled through August 7. This marks the first time in more than a decade that the Giants have chosen to hold training camp away from their headquarters, the Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which sits adjacent to MetLife Stadium. The move comes as the team conducts the initial two weeks of camp at The Greenbrier due to ongoing construction this summer at Quest to modify and improve the facility. Additionally, the surrounding area is preparing to recover from the FIFA World Cup, which will culminate with its final game at MetLife Stadium on July 19. The Giants are slated to return to their home facility on August 8 and will continue the remainder of training camp at Quest Diagnostics Training Center. At this time, there are no plans to open any of the Quest workouts to the public.
Looking ahead to the preseason, the Giants will kick off their 2026 exhibition slate at home on Saturday, August 15, at 1:00 p.m. ET, hosting the Minnesota Vikings. Their next game will take them south to Florida to face the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, August 22, at 4:00 p.m. ET. The preseason will conclude with a trip to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Jets on Friday, August 28, at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the Jets visiting as the visitor.
The NFL’s initial mandatory 53-man roster deadline is set for August 30. The Giants will begin the regular season at home on Sunday Night Football, welcoming the Dallas Cowboys on September 9.
