The fact is the Illini are deep at guard/wing heading into the upcoming season with top backcourt players , , , and all back, plus Illinois also went out and landing LSU transfer . Where Riopedre fits in that mix is likely as a deep bench option for Green and Co. to play spot minutes in case of foul trouble or injury.
