It was quickly reactivated, but Aydin and Flau’jae’s mother Kia Brooks would not let this incident slide.Posting on her own IG page, Kia uploaded a screenshot of Aydin’s suspended account. In a lengthy rant, Kia pinned the blame on people who are supposedly resentful of the social media prominence of six-year-old Aydin, an aspiring football player with a massive IG following.“PSA: Hating on other people’s kids will never help your kid win. @allaboutab_aydin 57K Instagram account got mass reported last night and was suspended by this morning. That’s how ugly it gets out here in youth sports and entertainment. Let this be a lesson to everyone, those who are clapping for your child, some are not genuinely happy for them.”Kia shared that, thanks to her connections, she was able to get Aydin’s IG page restored “within 15 minutes.”According to Kia, social media presence for athletes like Aydin is no small matter.“And for the people who say ‘it’s just a social media page,’ you really don’t understand the business. You can’t grasp how much people make off their brands and how much it used to cost to market a product, athlete, or business. These pages matter and often affect folks’ livelihood, especially when they don’t have more than one thing going on at the time.”Even as Johnson has made waves as a hooper in the college and pro levels, Aydin has gone viral in his own right. Last month, he went on a “mission” to invite NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to his football game.O’Neal, who played for LSU like Aydin’s sister, ended up giving his number to the young man.Viral Clip Shows LSU Coach Kim Mulkey Introducing Flau’jae Johnson to Country Singer Lainey WilsonAside from her basketball career, Flau’jae Johnson has also garnered attention for venturing into the world of music.
