They’re not cute,” Antetokounmpo added.The iguana situation turned into a viral moment when a large iguana appeared in the backyard of Antetokounmpo’s new home. The unexpected encounter left the Heat star hilariously terrified, and he shared a video of the incident on social media to give fans a glimpse of his reaction to the unwanted visitor.Iguanas are extremely common throughout Florida, but for Antetokounmpo, encountering one in his backyard is an entirely unfamiliar experience. The former Bucks star spent the first 13 years of his NBA career in Milwaukee, where giant reptiles were not exactly a regular sight roaming around backyards. As a result, Giannis never had to deal with an encounter quite like this one.The 2026-27 season presents a major change for Antetokounmpo.
