​Song Yadong is the talk of the town after knocking out Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC Shanghai.The Chinese sensation has been a mainstay in the UFC’s bantamweight division since 2017, but has begun cementing himself as a potential title challenger in recent years. ‘Kung Fu Kid’ has been sharpening his tools under the tutelage of Urijah Faber and co. at Team Alpha Male—one of the sport’s premier camps, having created several champions. Collecting the biggest win of his career last time out, Yadong finds himself within touching distance of a title shot, but the octagon isn’t the only place he has opportunities.After avenging his loss to Merab Dvalishvili, Henry Cejudo wants to stay active amid his retirement from the UFC. Despite having a boxing match on the horizon, Cejudo has already set his sights on his next RAF opponent.Hoping to gain some measure of revenge for yet another prior defeat in his career, ‘Triple C’ called out Song Yadong for a potential meeting on the Real American Freestyle mats.“I’d love to wrestle Song Yadong next,” Cejudo said. “I know he’s got desire to wrestle in Real American Freestyle, and I would love to welcome him into Real American Freestyle. Let’s put the belt on the line. Let’s do it in Miami. Why not? He’s got a couple weeks; he came [out of his last fight] unscathed. He did beat Umar Nurmagomedov in the fashion that he did.”“He has been working with elite wrestlers in Valentin [Kalika].
