​After falling one game short of the playoffs during the 2025-26 NBA season, the Charlotte Hornets are eager to punch their ticket to the postseason, which would be their first appearance since the 2015-16 season. Following a plethora of offseason moves, former Alabama forward Brandon Miller is expected to lead the charge for Charlotte.In a recent list put together by HoopsHype, Miller was ranked as the No. 10 small forward ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Last season, Miller led the Hornets in scoring, averaging 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, one steal and 0.7 blocks. Although this number was a bit lower than his 21 points per game as a sophomore, Miller’s efficiency greatly increased. The former No. 2 overall pick converted on 43.5% of field goals and a career-high 38.3% of 3-point attempts. Miller was ranked just behind Los Angeles Clippers forward Brandon Ingram and Franz Wagner of the Orlando Magic.
