After ending his college career at Drake, McLemore was picked up with the 25th overall selection of the 1964 NBA Draft by the (then) San Francisco (now, Golden State) Warriors.The Houston, Texas native played the first two seasons of his pro career with the Dubs, coming to an end when he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1966 expansion draft.
