The Los Angeles Rams boast one of the best rosters in the NFL, chock-full of top-flight players at nearly every major positional group. But if the Rams wanted to dismantle their team for draft capital, how much could each of their stars return? ESPN’s Bill Barnwell looked at many draft picks stars on every team would fetch on the open market. For the Rams, that meant six players landing in tiers worth at least one first-round pick. None of this is a suggestion that the Rams should actually make these trades. It’s a market snapshot, and a notable one given how many of these players are approaching second-contract decisions — and given that two of them just changed teams for real draft capital.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementEdge rusher Myles Garrett, acquired from Cleveland this offseason in one of the biggest trades in NFL history, sits alone atop the Rams’ bracket. Barnwell placed him in the “two first-round picks and more” tier, noting the Rams already showed what they were willing to give up in a trade to land Garrett. The actual bill: Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-rounder and a 2029 third-rounder that becomes a first-round pick if the Rams ever trade Garrett to an AFC North team.Three defensive linemen and a receiver checked being worth at least one first-round pick: defensive linemen Braden Fiske, wide receiver Puka Nacua and defensive tackle Kobie Turner. Barnwell flagged some uncertainty around Nacua given his offseason, though his efficiency, toughness over the middle and elite blocking for the position still make him a valuable piece in any offense. Nacua has caught 202 passes for 2,697 yards and nine touchdowns across three seasons. Turner has 24 career sacks since being a 2023 third-round pick, and Fiske, a 2024 second-rounder, has 11.5 sacks in two seasons, highlighted by an 8.5-sack rookie year. One tier down, at exactly one first-round pick, sit cornerback Trent McDuffie, quarterback Matthew Stafford and edge rusher Byron Young. McDuffie is the other recent arrival after the Rams sent their Nos. 29, 169 and 210 picks in the 2026 draft (although the final two picks were later traded away) as well as a third-rounder in 2027 to the Kansas City Chiefs for him, then signed him to a four-year, $124 million extension.Young, a 2023 third-rounder, has been the biggest riser of the group, posting a career-high 12 sacks in 2025 en route to his first Pro Bowl and pushing his career total to 27.5. Stafford, 38, doesn’t have the long-term arror his younger teammates do, but he’s coming off an MVP season that reaffirmed his standing among the league’s elite quarterbacks.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAll three of Fiske, Nacua and Turner are entering the final year of their rookie contracts, tying their trade value partly to the extensions they’ll be seeking. Stafford’s inclusion carries its own context — the Rams reportedly allowed him to speak with potential suitors before the 2025 season, before he ultimate
