​After snapping a three-game losing skid that included close losses to two ranked in-state FCS opponents and a Top 25 FBS opponent, the Abilene Christian Wildcats football team will be looking to keep rolling and building momentum in their nonconference final.Abilene Christian (1-3) – fresh off a back-and-forth 41-39 road win against Idaho – will battle the Mercer Bears (2-2) when the Wildcats take the field at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium in Abilene.The contest marks ACU’s third game so far this season against a ranked FCS opponent.The Wildcats dropped their season opener in a 21-14 road loss to then-No. 20 Lamar and then fell in their home opener to then-No. 13 Stephen F.
