​After a fiery win against their rival last weekend, the Crew hit the road and face 2025 MLS Cup winner Inter Miami on Aug. 1.Though not serving any suspensions, three Crew players, defenders Mo Farsi, Sean Zawadski and midfielder Max Arfsten, were fined by the MLS after a scuffle broke out during the Hell is Real match against FC Cincinnati. Cincinnati midfielder Gerardo Valenzuela received a yellow card for a hit against Columbus forward Taha Habroune. After the scuffle, Valenzuela received a red card for the conduct, earning him a suspension for Cincinnati’s Aug. 1 match and an additional match suspension from the league.The win over Cincinnati puts the Crew in 11th place in the Eastern Conference, with two wins, two losses and a draw in their past five matches. They will square up against second-place Miami, which has won its past five matches and sits 18 points above the Crew in the standings.The playing status of Miami star Lionel Messi is still unknown after returning to practice on July 30. He is allowed an optional 21-day rest period after the World Cup, which wrapped up on July 19.
