NBA Media Day is finally here. Teams around the league will be gathering for the first time to take photos, host press conferences, and officially kick off the 2026-27 season and training camp. For the Toronto Raptors, this is a special one. The team is welcoming back 2019 Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard after landing him in a trade with the LA Clippers, and Media Day will be the first time he fields questions from reporters since returning. The question everybody wants to know: How do you watch? Fortunately for Raptors fans, the team has been very good in recent years about streaming Media Day from start to finish. Their YouTube channel, along with the TSN website, has always had coverage. The NBA has uploaded the times, locations, and how-to-watch links for all 30 teams, and the Raptors are set to begin at 9 a.m. Eastern time. Their official website is linked on this page, indicating that it is also one location where coverage can be found. While it will be exciting to hear from Leonard again, there are several other storylines to follow at Raptors Media Day. How this team plans to navigate an interesting dynamic with Leonard and Scottie Barnes remains to be seen, because while the two-time Finals MVP has already gone on the record saying he is fine with it being Barnes’ team, there is an argument to be made that Leonard is still the better player right now.He has the experience and the playoff runs that Barnes has not yet gotten. That will be something to watch as the two figure out how to play together, especially down the stretch of games. There will also likely be questions for Leonard about the NBA’s investigation into salary cap circumvention related to him and the LA Clippers, which resulted in a $700,000 fine for Leonard and several harsh punishments for the Clippers, including suspensions for Steve Ballmer, Gillian Zucker, and Lawrence Frank, a $30 million fine, and most importantly, the loss of five first-round picks.Leonard was able to return to Toronto with nothing more than that fine. He seems focused on putting that chapter of his career behind him and beginning a second stint in Toronto, where he hopes to end his future Hall of Fame career and potentially add another championship to the résumé.It all starts here with another Media Day, and maybe another viral Leonard moment like his intro in 2018.
