It was a gutsy win, with Indiana having to dig deep to fend off a scrappy Storm squad after All-Star Aaliyah Boston exited the game in the second quarter with a knee injury and didn’t return.However, one of the biggest storylines entering the game surrounded a rally held outside of the arena in support of Fever reserve guard Sophie Cunningham’s recent comments on how to “protect women’s sports.”“I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I’m like, ‘I never once said that,’” Cunningham said in a recent ESPN profile. “I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest.
